The "Embrace" series of sculptures

The "Embrace" series of sculptures, created by Tianjie Studio, is rooted in Eastern natural philosophy.Drawing inspiration from the myriad forms of nature, it employs a modern artistic language that combines strength and delicacy to interpret the essence of soul and charm.

The "Embrace" series of works subtly echoes the "Three Principles" of the Book of Changes: dark black represents the earth, embodying the steadiness of pine roots deeply rooted in the ground; flowing gold represents the sky, reflecting the pine crown's desire to pursue light; and various colors represent people, witnessing the inclusiveness of years precipitated in the annual rings. These three color schemes can stand alone as separate chapters, yet they can also weave together through light and shadow to form a spatial poetry, evoking philosophical thoughts about eternity and transience in the interplay of void and reality.

The color is vermilion, capturing the fiery soul of the pine and condensing it into form; abstracted into meaning, it embodies the essence of wood and melts into the spirit, using concise lines to depict the ruggedness of the pine, fully exhibiting its spaciousness and elegance through its controlled and unrestrained expression.

The color is pale green, embodying the proud spirit of pine; the abstract form captures the essence of wood, blending its spiritual charm into the divine. Abandoning the shackles of concreteness, it encapsulates the resilience of winter between the real and the virtual.
