The inspiration for "Xiaomo Time" stems from the author's deep understanding of the concept of "killing time", which he has transformed into a part of life art, self-improvement, and spiritual healing, encouraging people to find balance in their busy lives and enjoy every moment.
"Xiaomo Time" is a space filled with warmth, where one can find relaxation, discover fun, and pursue the pure and beautiful serenity and humor of self-deprecation. The artwork is based on the theme of "loving this noisy and bustling world, while also cherishing the silence when the world falls silent," conveying our appreciation and yearning for both states in life.
"Xiaomo Time" is an artistic IP created by artist LikoLu, exploring the complexities of emotions, time, and modern society through the perspective of the virtual character "Xiaomo". The project presents contemporary life issues such as loneliness, love, anxiety, and growth in a relaxed atmosphere, while incorporating philosophical depth, aiming to provide healing power and inspire deep thought for the audience. By combining fairy tale-like allegories with real emotions in urban life, the work constructs a unique "system world" where themes such as time, love, loneliness, and growth are intertwined, forming an artistic language that deeply explores modern life.
The work interprets my views and reflections on life through humor and self-deprecation, presenting a unique perspective. It advocates finding inner peace in the fast-paced life, experiencing, resonating with, and deeply reflecting on the present, and feeling the warmth and satisfaction of every moment with heart. It teaches us to stop in the midst of busyness, have a dialogue with our inner selves, and discover the profound significance of the micro-but-certain happiness in life and the healing of the soul.
